Attendees are responsible for reservation and payment of their own flight arrangements to Kunming, Yunnan Province on Sunday, January 6. For those arriving in the afternoon we will arrange a tour of Yunnan International Flower Auction (KIFA) followed by dinner and lodging near the airport at the Best Hotel.

From Kunming we will fly to Lincang (LNJ) and drive to Pu’er (SYM)
It is recommended that attendees exchange money before arrival or at the Beijing, Shanghai or Hong Kong airports. Lincang and Pu’er do not have ATM machines, nor do the hotels exchange money. Banks are accessed by appointment only.
Yunnan Province is known for its delicious, spicy food using local ingredients. Meals are always served family style or buffet - consisting of multiple dishes of meats, vegetables, eggs, soup, and of course, rice. Pu’er is an area of many beautiful farms producing a large variety of fruits and vegetables. All meals will have vegetarian options.

You will file using category “M” – Foreigners who intend to go to China for commercial and trade activities.
US citizens, with more than 12 months remaining on their passport may be eligible for a 10-year Visa at no additional charge.
Once you have registered for the tour, Yunnan International Coffee Exchange (YCE) we will send you a letter of invitation from the event host. This will be attached to your Visa application. The cost in-person is $140. If you are not in an area with a Visa office, it can be facilitated through a third-party service. Allow a minimum of 3 – 4 weeks or expedited service is available at an additional charge.
